By 2050 the global energy demand will double. Using a natural and renewable energy resource, solar power plants produce alternative, competitive and environmentally-friendly electrical energy. Renewable energy sources are essential in tomorrow’s energy mix.

Nowadays, the generated photovoltaic electricity can be sold to incumbent operators at a regulated tariff, to third parties (local consumers, industrial companies or local authorities) with a bilateral contract, or directly on the spot market.

GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE, a French independent power producer has a large photovoltaic portfolio with assets in France and abroad. In this way, the Group is actively contributing to the diversification of the local energy mix, as well as contributing significantly to the global energy transition.
